It's been a while since I posted any new work. It's been a very busy few months, but better late than never, here are a couple of paintings I'm just finishing.
A change of period from many of my recent commissions. Early 18th Century this time.
As ever, I paint the image about 30% larger than it will be reproduced. My work is detailed anyway, but the reduction in size will help to tighten up the brush strokes.
