"Remember the Alamo!" The battle of San Jacinto, April 21, 1836

The 2d Regt. Texas Volunteers shout, " Remember the Alamo!" as they approach the Mexican battle line at the double-quick, firing at point-blank range. Some Texians break through the Mexican breastwork, of wooden pack saddles, knapsacks, and sacks of corn, and engage in a desperate hand-to-hand struggle with remnants of the Toluca Militia Battalion, who start to fall back in disarray.
