Front and rear figure studies of a Hungarian light machine gunner of the IV Platoon, 1st Company, 5th Motorized Rifle Battalion advancing to a new firing position on the island of Khortytsia.
He is armed with a 8mm 31M Solothurn light machine gun and carries spare magazines or boxed loose rounds in a metal container. A 9mm 37M semi-automatic pistol is carried in a holster suspended from his belt. Also tucked in his belt is a field cap.
He wears a sleeved, leather jerkin over his tunic. his tunic collar can be seen with it's blue tabs denoting the Mobile troops.
