Paintings- 1914 to 1939
The historical, military paintings shown here are available to purchase, along with others which space does not allow me to show. If you require further details, wish to see a higher resolution detail of a painting, or have an enquiry, please CONTACT me.
Most of these paintings were commissioned by publishers, who pay the artist to produce the work. Once the commission is completed, the paintings are returned to the artist for private sale. So I am able to offer these works for sale at a more affordable price than a privately commissioned painting.
A number of factors determine the price of these paintings, the size, the amount of work involved in creating the image, and when in my career it was painted.
Most paintings are in watercolour with the occasional use of gouache. They are painted on 300gsm/140lb watercolour paper and are sold unframed.
